Who are we?
We are brothers studying at the University of Auckland, one in computer science and information systems, the other in operations research. This site and store are run by us, and we are incorporated in New Zealand under the company name Galt Jewellery Limited.

Where are we from?
We were born and raised here in the City of Sails, more commonly known as Auckland.

Where's our store?
The reason we can offer the prices we do, is because we don't have a physical store. The only front-end to our business is this website, and everything is run from our residence. To learn more about how we operate, please visit the Our Mission page.

How safe are purchases made with us?
When you order with us via credit card, you can rest assured your credit card number will only be handled with the utmost security -- we don't even see it ourselves. When purchasing, you'll be taken directly to our credit card merchant, 2Checkout, to fill in the payment and shipping details. We only receive what is required for shipping and auditing purposes.

What are we here for?
Simply put, we wish to provide a range of quality jewellery at very competitive prices.

How do we plan on going about this?

We slash our overhead costs!

By virtually eliminating the costs of rent and salary we are able to price the jewellery we have on offer VERY competitively. Operating on the internet we don’t need to rent out expensive space to house our wares. We don’t hire people to stand around and sell to whomever walks into the shop. As a result we don’t have large costs that need to be covered by the sale of the odd item! This means that we can price EVERY item at a LOW cost!
We believe our prices really do speak for themselves.

What type of jewellery do we sell, and what is our target market?
We aim to sell a variety of more affordable jewellery than most jewellery stores. We mainly sell gold rings, necklaces, pendants and earrings, with a variety of set stones and ornaments. However, we do not limit ourselves to these, and you may find a selection of silver and platinum good as well! To help you make the best possible choice in your purchase, we offer an online Buying Guide, to help walk the less jewellery savvy through the finer points of the trade. As for our target market, we're here to offer our goods to any who'd otherwise throw their money away at more expensive stores!
